Christian Life

Kikelomo was born into a Christian home but going to church was a perfunctory Sunday routine whilst she was in Ikere-Ekiti and in school. When she graduated and relocated to Lagos for NYSC and living with Daddy E. A. Owolabi (first born of her father), she met and accepted Jesus as her Lord and personal saviour at ECWA Church, Ayilara, Surulere, Lagos. She immediately became active in the church activities and became a prominent member of the church choir. Upon her marriage in 1992, Parish she became a founding member of RCCG Hosanna Model at Rialto Hotel, Ojota through to 2018 at Olive Gardens Parish, Lagoon Estate, Ogudu Ori-Oke, Lagos, Kikelomo was a conscientious worker in the church, serving God and humanity with her time and resources. Kike severally refused to be ordained a pastor, believing her calling was to work for God, give to the widows, orphan and the needy unstintingly. At the Prayers Centre Church of God (PCCG), Kike was a prominent member of the welfare & Kingdom Partners Department, focusing on caring and giving to the less privileged as well as the growth of the church of God.

She served with unparalleled dedication and humility, offering hope and belief in the faithfulness of God. At St James Anglican Church, Aramoko Ekiti (our home church), Kikelomo brought evngelism to the congregation’s to the doorsteps of the congregation with great enthusiasm. Her consistent support for annual revivals and crusades earned her the chieftancy title of Mother of Evangelism. Furthermore, she empowered female members by providing interest free loans amongst them and supported the feeding of the widows in the church. Kikelomo was a prayer warrior of note, participating in all such programmes whether early morning, late evening or night vigil, whether on workdays or weekends. She equally invested as much time in the study of the word, attending Bible classes to deepen her knowledge, listening to tapes and videos as well as reading books explaining the Words of God. One of her enduring prayer point was that no calamity should befall her husband that she will be richer than him and peradventure become proud in his presence

what kike represents

Christianah was dedicated to her family. As a daughter, loving spouse, devoted mother, and friend who treated everyone like family, she poured her heart into every role she played. Her love knew no bounds. Her family was her foundation—the source of her strength and the place where her deepest joys resided. It is impossible not to imagine more occasions she would have celebrated with them – the moments that would have filled her heart with pride. Taken too soon, she left us wondering what could have been.
